This is truly what's making the game seem p2w above all else. It's supposed to be about skill; someone with 3% attack should still be able to advance further if he/she has enough skill, but the time limit FORCES you to spend money to gain enough strength in order to beat it before the time limit approaches. No matter how much I dodge or use fancy tricks in a level, I can never beat it unless I want to spend 30k gold per enchant trying to make my weapon a bit stronger. I imagine a lot of others are struggling with it as well. The time limit being there just doesn't strike me as "skill" at all, because in the end, you have to pay souls just to get rid of it, which are extremely expensive as they are. Without it existing, I don't think I would have a problem with getting through Hell difficulty even if I had to hit the enemy 1000 times before it dies.
Some of you might say, "Do infinity towers!," but not only are the souls from the area simply not sufficient enough to get you far in the game, the difficulty spikes to the point where you have to fight two or three bosses on the floor who can each kill you in one hit. Either way, you're stuck in a never-ending grind throughout the game with sub-par equipment if you don't spend 100$ on the game; what's fun supposed to be fun about that? I would like to see some thoughts in this thread and whether anyone can change my opinion or not.
