Uhm u spent 500 gems on tier 2 equip?...

My hint is: when u are stucked use 30-40 gems to get items of higher tier. But don'waste too much souls on them. Items of tier (1-13) Will last only for 20-30 minutes of games each... so buy equip only when you are stucked
