Transfer upgrate

I want to transfer upgrate from Tier 15 Legendary sword to Inferno sword, but i dont know start index 8,000 dame is the best? (Some of Legendary sword has start index 9,060 dame)

I honestly don't remember where mine started. The increase in my damage value was significant though. The legendary sword I was using had about 400 upgrades on it and I was able to add a few more than that to my inferno sword right away. The difference was notable.
