120 for unique
And 100 for tier 15 legendary

That's true. After that, stones will be used in order to further increase it's maximum level beyond 120. In all armors, you will only need iron stones and rings/amulets will require magic stones. Swords will require different stones according to the attribute (element) they possess like fire -> red stone, dark -> dark stones, lightning -> yellow stones, blizzard -> blue stone & etc. Wings will use magic stones.
