Difficulty

The difficulty of my game has just jumped absurdly through the roof. As in a full clip of assault rifle (20 rounds) to take down a basic zombie.

It seems to have increased out of nowhere. Does it correlate with something I’ve done eg annihilation missions or days survived? Or is it simply a stupid frustration gimmick to induce you to spend? It feels like the latter.

I have 8 survivors. 2 purple, the rest blue. The blues are utterly outmatched and the purples are struggling
Gotta keep your upgrade game on lock!

Upgrade your people and their gunnz as soon and as much as possible!

The stats really add up at level 50 and beyond

My squad.
Does the difficulty level of a given stage adjust relative to the used survivor? Or is it based on overall level? Some of those annihilation levels can't be finished without utilizing s-bullets, otherwise you run out of time and still gotta spend s-bullets to extend or just vaccinate your guy.

Don't know what happened but I have 2 S+ shotgunners with over 200 M in power and zombies have begun walking through the rounds like its nothing. Forget killing any of the bears/gorillas. Both of my S guys are 3 stars.

I think the difficulty, that is zombie hit points increase the more days you survive. I’m around 900 days and my main survivor does about 10T damage to clear levels.

1T = 1000B
1B = 1000M
1M = 1000K

Ok I get that, but how does that affect headshot mechanics? Do you have to deal a certain amount of damage for a headshot to count? Because right now in exploration mode, I can pour an entire magazine on the right spot for a zombie and it won't count as a headshot, but a critical shot. Wtf is that?

a Headshot is the bullet hitting the zombie’s weakpoint and also the killing blow, usually the head. But if that shot did not do enough damage to deplete the zombie’s health completely, it is then considered a Critical Hit.

Yeah getting lots of critical shots means your survivor needs to level up. Ideally you don’t need critical shots to kill them. Much easier to kill zombies without headshots.
