Gem's

I am new to the game, I am now wanting to touch the gems, I am more in doubt than putting them on the persongens. I checked in the forums that the best would be damage to mage and hunter and defense in the warrior. Atak Speed, creature damage or undead, vitality or physical defense.

Could someone give me a suggestion for the characters?
