megan, stones are only needed/usable when a weapon has reached it's current maximum level. So if a normal sword reaches level 20, you will be prompted to 'exceed max level' and use the appropriate type of stone.

They are also used when upgrading your pet, seemingly 10 at a time. Stones of all types are acquired in both normal play and Dark Dungeon.

You need to play the dark dungeon a bunch and it will give you power stones and sometimes you wont get any power stones for 10 trys then u might get 3 in a row or sometime it might be every other try but you can only get power stones from playing dark dungeon you dont need to be any level you just have to keep trying some times it take a bunch of trys sometimes its your first try and dont power up your dragon or you will have to every time the dark dungeon difficulty depends on how you play if you power up it will make the dungeon harder no matter how strong u get it it will level up or down depending on you you

Magic stone raise your jewelry lvls iron raises you armor level and depending on the type weapon you have you have to use the matching gem like if you use a dark elemental sword you have to use a dark gem to level up your sword and then there are power stone that do a bunch of different things but to get power stones you have to play the DARK DUNGEON and the dark dungeon will go up and down in difficulty depending on your level and how well you play sometime you wont get a power stone for a bunch of trys and some times you you will get power stones 4 trys in a row and you only get power stones when you beat the dark dungeon the game will show you if you won a power stone or not after the baord where it show what armor and wepons and gems if you get a power stone it will show you there
